 As they did on last spring's inaugural All-Rock Valley Conference girls soccer team, McFarland players lead the way on this year's squad.
The Spartans have seven of the 14 players named to the first team by conference coaches, led a trio of repeat selections: senior forward Sara Stern, junior midfielder Jacie Jermier and junior forward Jenny Ujke.
Senior goalkeeper Stephanie Pederson, senior defender Rosie Beck, junior Talia Schluter and sophomore midfielder Julie Donagan are the other honorees for McFarland, which has outscored opponents 94-4 in winning all 14 of its conference matches in the two-year history of the Rock Valley.
Donagan was one of five sophomores to make the top team. Walworth Big Foot-Williams Bay senior midfielder Becca Hobbs was the only other repeat selection.
