 It probably wasn't very difficult for the five Madison prep girls soccer coaches to select this year's All-City team.
After all, nine of the 13 players honored were on the team last year, and another was on the honor squad the two years before that.
Madison Memorial led the way with four players on the team, including repeat selections in senior defender Abby Beinlich, junior defender Dana Robertson and junior goalkeeper Katy Pilarzyk.
Beinlich, Madison Edgewood senior forward Claire Kinderman and the Madison La Follette junior duo of forward Morgan LaPlant and defender Elise Olson made the team for the third consecutive season.
Edgewood junior midfielder Hannah Elfman, Madison East sophomore Katrina Rozzell and Madison West senior defender Hannah Wiesner rounded out the repeat choices. And Wiesner's teammate, senior midfielder Izzi Speer, returned to the team after being honored as a freshman and as a sophomore.
Six seniors earned Scholar-Athlete Awards, including Wiesner.
